I hear lots of commercials today saying "our Quality products" or "our Quality service". My response is "Really! No kidding?" That's because ALL businesses that provide products or services ... will provide Quality products or services. Yes, ALL of them.

Now you say that you know some businesses that you'll never use again because they didn't deliver on their part of the bargain. So surely I don't mean that They have a quality service. Well ... yes I do. Because They DO, have a Quality service.

How is this so? Because the word Quality means "The DEGREE of excellence of a thing". That DEGREE still needs to be defined by other words. Words like "Good" Quality or "Poor" Quality. The business you dealt with appears to have "Poor" Quality.

Companies that state they have Quality products or services without defining the DEGREE of Quality; are hoping you'll assume it means good quality. To me; these are the companies to avoid. If they aren't willing to say that they have good quality products or services; then they probably don't have good quality. And that usually means they have poor quality.
